Remember (Letters to a Friend Series)

Dear Sir (Letters to a Friend Series)

Pop Up Poetry: “Family”

I never turn down anyone. I love you people. All of you. Come…talk with me. Tell me your story; I want to hear it. And, if I may, I will memorialize it for you because your life is just as beautiful as the next. Lovely meeting this little family of three–mom, dad, and 3-month-old Vincenzo. Hope to see you guys in Portland sometime!

Our Impossible Story

“Our Impossible Love” by #JessicaMurdoch the #RhetoricalRedhead. A snippet of our story.❤ On behalf of the day of St. Valentine…Love should be easy. But Love also requires some work. Love is not just an emotion, but also an action…a CHOICE…a daily effort to give yourself completely to another person without expecting anything in return. If you put forth the effort, and work hard to be partners in everything, it will be easy. If the effort isn’t there…love fades and resentment grows. You are worth waiting for. You are worthy of respect and admiration. And most importantly, you are worthy of a grand Love that overcomes all else. You deserve love just as much as anyone else, and you owe it to yourself to accept only the most powerful kind of Love that…

Love Leans In

Chronic fatigue has led me to this conclusion, darling. ❤ Your truth is worth every moment spent in my level of hell.

First “Live” Pop Up Poetry Request

Well. I broke the ice. My very first “live” #PopUpPoetry request was for such a sweet, newly-engaged couple at @archivecoffeeandbar. She had just shared with him her long-time dream of being a florist, and I whipped this up to commemorate their new beginnings and exciting future. I was surprised and deeply humbled to receive not only a surprise donation for my spontaneous, impromptu gesture, but also tears of joy and a hug. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect First than this. ❤ Blessings upon you both, M & B; thank you for your kindness and the wonderful opportunity to…

Haiku #114

Managed to sneak in a handwritten haiku during the move on the only paper I could find… Writing will resume soon and I cannot wait to have my new writing corner! Woo!

Pop Up Poetry: Hopeless Romantic Child

Another #TipYourBartenderInPoetry for my dear friend Josh at @archivecoffeeandbar. ❤ An excellent prompt, Josh! So honored to have the chance to put a smile on your face! ☺ Cheers!
